About the role:

Turn numbers into something meaningful

Some people look at spreadsheets.

You see trends.
Questions.
Ways to make things better.

At Lincolnshire Co-op, data is more than reports—it helps us make the right decisions for people.

We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our Payroll and Pensions team, helping make sure the data behind key processes is accurate, dependable and ready to support important decisions.

Because when the data is right, everything works more smoothly.

Where detail makes the difference

Every detail matters.

From payslips to pension records, the information behind the scenes needs to be accurate, consistent and trusted.

Working alongside our Payroll and Pensions team, you’ll help keep everything on track—making sure records are clean, compliant and ready to be relied on.

Because this role isn’t only about data.

It’s about getting things right for people.

Where curiosity meets accuracy

You’ll work with the data that colleagues depend on—checking, cleansing and improving it so it tells a clear, reliable story.

One day, you might be identifying gaps across pension member records.
The next, tracking updates, resolving discrepancies or supporting an important data project.

You’ll focus on:

  • Investigating data and asking “what needs a closer look?”
  • Cleansing and validating payroll and pension datasets
  • Monitoring changes and keeping records accurate and audit-ready
  • Supporting reports and sharing updates with the wider team
  • Working with colleagues and stakeholders to provide trusted data and insight
  • Building your knowledge across wider payroll and pensions processes

Because this role isn’t just about looking after data.

It’s about making it better.

About You

The person who’ll do well here

You like getting into the detail—but you also understand why it matters.

You’re curious, organised and motivated by finding answers others may miss.

You’ll bring:

  • Strong Excel skills (the kind that help spreadsheets do the hard work with you)
  • A strong eye for detail and a focus on accuracy
  • Confidence reviewing, questioning and improving data
  • The ability to organise your workload and work to deadlines
  • Clear communication skills—you can explain what you’ve found and why it matters

Most importantly, you’ll understand that this data matters—handling sensitive payroll and pension information carefully and professionally.

What adds up for you

Alongside work where your skills can make a real difference, you’ll receive:

  • 30 days annual leave (pro-rata), including bank holidays
  • Pension scheme with up to 12% employer contributions
  • Generous colleague discounts across our family of businesses
  • Opportunities to develop your skills and grow your career

We’re proud to be an Investors in People Platinum employer, supporting colleagues to build careers they feel proud of.

Does this add up for you?

If you enjoy solving problems, spotting patterns and making things work better, this could be the role for you.

Join us—and help turn data into something that makes a real difference.
