About the role:

Payroll that people can rely on

What if your next role helped make sure colleagues are paid accurately, on time, every time?

Behind every payslip is a team that keeps things running smoothly. It's careful administration, attention to detail and people who understand that accuracy matters.

We're looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our Payroll team and help deliver an efficient, accurate and compliant payroll service across our organisation.

This is an opportunity to build on your payroll knowledge while supporting the day-to-day processes that keep our colleagues paid correctly and confidently.

Because payroll isn't just about processing payments.

It's about trust.

Every detail makes a difference

Most people only see the end result.

Their salary arriving on time. Their pension being correct. Their holiday pay calculated accurately.

What sits behind that is careful administration, accurate data and people who care about getting the details right.

As a Payroll Administrator, you'll support the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring employee information is maintained accurately, payroll changes are processed correctly and queries are resolved professionally.

Your work will help colleagues feel confident that they're being paid fairly and correctly, every pay period.

Delivering accuracy through payroll

Payroll knowledge is important.

But what really makes the difference is your ability to stay organised, work methodically and maintain accuracy, even when priorities change.

You'll support the Payroll team by:

  • Processing payroll changes including new starters, leavers, contractual changes and statutory payments
  • Maintaining accurate employee records across payroll systems
  • Checking payroll data to ensure accuracy before each payroll run
  • Supporting monthly payroll processing and meeting key deadlines
  • Responding to payroll queries from colleagues and managers in a professional and timely manner
  • Assisting with pension administration, statutory payments and payroll compliance activities
  • Supporting payroll reconciliations and reporting where required
  • Working closely with HR and Finance to ensure employee information is accurate and up to date
  • Helping identify process improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with payroll legislation, GDPR and company policies

Every day brings something different.

One day you could be supporting payroll processing. The next, helping resolve a colleague's query, updating employee records or checking payroll reports ahead of submission.
