About the role:

Mosaic, Lincoln's Digital Hub has been developed collaboratively by the digital community in Lincoln, working together with the Lincolnshire Co-op and Lincolnshire County Council.

The digital hub aims to bring different digital and tech businesses together under one roof and encourage an environment of collaborations that fosters innovation and provides a platform for ideas to flourish and businesses to grow.

As a Digital Hub Events and Marketing Assistant, you will ensure our members and visitors receive exceptional customer care and serve as an ambassador for our vibrant digital community. Working with a small team, you will manage the daily operations of Mosaic’s social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, as well as maintain and update the Mosaic website. You will also oversee events, either run by Mosaic or our partners.

In this role, you will also create and design different types of content, including photos, videos, and infographics, to promote the hub’s activities and enhance engagement across our digital channels. You will collaborate closely with facilities management and other suppliers to maintain the hub’s professional appearance.

No two days are the same, as every day offers new opportunities and tasks — from handling a variety of administrative duties to support the hub’s operations, to helping promote Mosaic by attending networking events! Additionally, you will support with general duties such as answering the phone and responding to emails.

About You

As our Digital Hub Events and Marketing Assistant, you’ll be responsible for supporting the Mosaic brand and ensuring that relevant and appropriate content for the right channels align with Mosaic's ethos.  You’ll need to be a welcoming and positive influence to make sure you leave a lasting impression and so people feel at ease in their surroundings. You’ll be highly organised and dependable, someone who our members and guests can rely on as well as being someone who’s always happy to have a coffee and a chat!

As you will be overseeing the day-to-day running of the co-working space alongside colleagues, you’ll have no problems handling a varied workload within a busy team. We’re looking for an honest, reliable, and motivated person who has a passion to deliver a great service for our members and visitors. As well as having previous experience in a marketing and or events role, you’ll also need to show us:

  • An ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate willingness to collaborate with our members, visitors and colleagues
  • Good time management with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise as necessary.
  • Be proficient in Office 365
  • The ability to work with discretion at all times, with a sound knowledge of GDPR.
Please note that colleagues will be expected to work additional hours where required to cover holidays and must be prepared to work evenings and weekends, as necessary.
