About the role:

Our community pharmacies play a key part in caring for the health and wellbeing of our customers. As the largest Co-operative Pharmacy group, our pharmacies offer so much more than just exceptional customer service! From prescriptions and flu vaccines to podiatry and sports therapy, we’re passionate about looking after the health needs of our patients.

Our delivery pharmacy warehouse is the hub for our dispensing needs, it works closely with our colleagues to care for the health and wellbeing of our customers and members. Within the role you can expect to work with the pharmacist to dispense, label, and prepare orders for the delivery vans. Also you will be dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service over telephone calls and emails.

During this role, we will help you to get the work experience you need to aid you in qualifying as a Pharmacist. You will gain a real insight into pharmacy, giving you the opportunity to study and learn whilst providing valued care to your local community.

About You

It isn’t just about experience or knowledge; we’re looking for Pharmacy Students with a genuine passion for customer service and who will be ambassadors for healthcare in our pharmacies. To be successful in joining our team in this role you’ll need to be studying towards master’s degree in pharmacy (MPharm). You’ll also need to show us:

A natural ability to build meaningful relationships with both patients and colleagues
An upbeat, caring, and confident manner when serving and advising patients
An enthusiasm and talent for problem solving, eager to take on new challenges and experiences
A methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks, using your own initiative and teamwork skills to aid you
Experience of working in a retail background and using a stock control system would be desirable but not essential as full training is provided
