Someone who takes pride in every delivery
This is a role where reliability, responsibility and a caring approach are essential. You’ll be trusted to look after your vehicle, organise your deliveries and collections, and handle medicines and prescriptions with care and confidentiality.
You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, managing your time effectively and understanding the importance of patient privacy. A professional and considerate approach is key, as you’ll be helping patients access the medicines they need and supporting our pharmacy team to provide a reliable service.
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:
-
A full UK driving licence and a commitment to safe driving, vehicle checks and maintaining a clean, roadworthy vehicle.
-
A reliable, responsible and organised approach, with the ability to plan deliveries and prescription collections efficiently.
-
Excellent communication skills and a professional, considerate manner when dealing with patients, doctors’ surgeries and pharmacy colleagues.
-
A strong understanding of confidentiality, with the ability to handle patient information, medicines and prescriptions discreetly and responsibly.
-
A flexible and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently, follow procedures and communicate any issues promptly.
You’ll need to take pride in keeping your vehicle clean and safe for carrying medicines, while ensuring deliveries and collections are completed carefully and efficiently. Attention to detail and a commitment to providing a dependable service will be important in helping our pharmacy team support patients in our communities.
Colleague benefits that make a difference
Alongside the opportunity to support our pharmacy team and make a positive difference to patients in our communities, you'll receive a benefits package that's designed to support you:
-
Up to 30 days' annual leave (including bank holidays), pro rata.
-
A pension scheme with up to 12% employer contributions.
-
Generous colleague discounts across our family of businesses.
-
Annual discretionary colleague bonuses in recognition of your contribution.
-
A range of wellbeing initiatives and opportunities to support our local communities.
We're committed to helping our colleagues learn, develop and build rewarding careers. As you gain experience, you'll have opportunities to develop your skills, build relationships with colleagues and contribute to the delivery of a dependable pharmacy service.
Please note: The successful candidate for this role will be required to complete a DBS check before joining our team.
Ready to make a difference in our communities?
If you're organised, reliable and take pride in providing a safe and confidential service, we'd love to hear from you. This is an opportunity to play an important part in helping patients access their medicines while supporting the work of our pharmacy team.
