Behind every Gadsby’s bakery product is a team working together to make sure it reaches customers safely, on time and in excellent condition.
We’re looking for a Driver to join our Gadsby’s Bakery team, delivering a wide range of bakery products safely and efficiently to our network of internal and external customers.
This is a role where reliability, care and professionalism matter. From completing vehicle checks and loading products correctly to following delivery routes and providing excellent service at every drop, you’ll play an important part in keeping our bakery operation running smoothly.
It’s about making sure every delivery arrives safely, accurately and ready for our customers.
From the bakery to the customer
Every delivery starts with careful preparation.
As a Gadsby’s Driver, you’ll complete vehicle safety checks, make sure products are loaded correctly, follow planned delivery routes and keep accurate records throughout your day.
You’ll also be one of the faces of Gadsby’s at every delivery point, building positive relationships with customers and representing the bakery in a professional and friendly way.
You’ll:
- Complete vehicle safety checks, load bakery products safely and ensure products are correctly checked, labelled and ready for delivery.
- Follow designated delivery routes and schedules, delivering bakery products safely and on time while providing a professional and friendly service to customers.
- Complete delivery notes, temperature records, returns and vehicle logs accurately, reporting any shortages, defects, hazards or delivery issues promptly.
- Work closely with bakery and transport colleagues, supporting loading, unloading and wider production duties while maintaining high standards of food safety, vehicle cleanliness and safe working practices.
There’s plenty of variety in the role. One moment you’ll be preparing your vehicle and loading products, the next you’ll be out on the road, meeting customers, managing your route or supporting the bakery team during busy periods.
Making every journey count
Being a Gadsby’s Driver is about more than simply delivering products.
You’ll help protect product quality, maintain food safety standards and make sure customers receive their deliveries when they expect them. You’ll need to work independently, respond calmly when plans change and take pride in completing every route safely and efficiently.
